Oh Jenni, I am so sorry to hear this. I hope the GP is understanding, prepared to listen to you and able to offer both immediate relief and some advice for the future. Thinking of you Jenni, Lyn x

How frustrating for you, but pleased they are coming out to you. Fingers crossed (if only!!) that you can start to feel a little better very soon.

the dr has been and Jean has been on the blower.
basically it is amputation at the neck. this would be messy and too expensive for the NHS and so perhaps best to wait to see the rheumatologist on thursday and hear what he has to say.
he was quite tasty.... my gp has retired, she has been such a God send in yrs gone by- but this new chappy seems pretty on the ball.
came out to see me with no fuss. PLus he knows the endocrine dr I am under as he worked alongside her in the past....
more morphine in the meantime.
Love to all.....

Jenni, glad he came without any fuss. I know lots of gps now wont come out, my neighbour is almost housebound!!?? (in that she can drive, but cant walk when she gets there) her gp refuses to come out and prescribes over the phone!! not good!!! Did you just get more morphine, or was he able to give any advice or suggestions, especially re the leg? Thinking of you Jenni x x x BARBARA

Hi Jenni
Pleased that you was happy with your visit, it all helps. Least he was able to see how you were today, and put your mind at rest a little.
Hope things go in the right direction on Thursday, you are doing so well.

I have suggested to Jenni that the leg could be caused by prolonged use of overtight wellies, but she assures me she has taken 'em off. Jeanxxxxxx
